• The length of coverage of the 42, or 45 mm pole is 40 - 45 cm of pole length. Assuming that the area we will cover on the tape is 4 mm

The tape does not damage the surface of the pole  
1 tape will be enough for you for 40-45 cm of pole. To cover 220 cm of pole you need a minimum of 5 pieces. 

Method of application

Start winding the tape from the bottom up, if you apply it wrongly you can quickly tear it off, but be careful because the tape sticks together very quickly. The tape also sticks together when exposed to heat. Before you start applying it, pull off the transparent protective strip. Wind the tape so that the higher layer overlaps the lower layer by about 4 mm (you can less, then you will cover a larger part of the pole)
